Bulgana Green Power Hub

As a Victorian first, the Bulgana Green Power Hub was the first Renewable Energy Project to combine large battery storage to maximise efficiency. As part of a Siemens Gamesa D&C, the project consisted of 56 Wind Turbines capable of producing 194MW's, with an additional 20MW battery storage. OPT Concrete were engaged to complete all FRP works associated with the Wind Turbine Foundations, with each WTG Foundation incorporating nearly 500m3 and 65t of reinforcement.
